A
background of business and banking would hardly
seem a fitting resume for a guide hosting treks
into the Sacred Land of the Maya ..introducing
those with a longing for a deeper connection in
their lives to the wonder of Nature, the indigenous
world and themselves. But it seems that just such
a background allows me to know and understand
those who travel with me. I remember that world.
I lived it for so many years. I also know the
life of a married woman, and know it is important
for all men and women to experience time with
just themselves. It is because I have lived that
life, and now live within the beauty of this mystical
land and her people, that I can share with humanity
all that I have come to love. I am privileged
to walk between these worlds and am offering myself
as a bridge between cultures. |
